Ya! I officially have one follower! Excited day for a blogger :). Today the book I want to discuss is one written by a woman who in my opinion is the nicest writer I met. She took the time to talk with me even talked about my working progress book. Well one of her books is called Love's Enduring Bond. This book is set in the Civil War where North and South are bitterly divided however one nurse tries to over come the hatred of both sides. Her husband fights for honor and for the South, while her and her doctor father nurse the wounded (Yankees) Union Soldiers. Check this book out Love's Enduring Bond by Jean Keating

Next in the Bourne Series is The Bourne Supremacy again ignore the movies all though Matt Damon is pretty HOT! The Bourne Supremacy takes you off of Carlos the Jackal and more into Government cover ups. In this second book we know the mystery man is actually David Webb created by Tredstone 71 an organization created by the CIA to do recon missions in undisclosed locations and also to catch the infamous Carlos the Jackal. In Bourne Supremacy the fake person of Jason Bourne created by Tred. 71 to lure out Carlos. Well uh oh guess what? There is a new Jason Bourne going on a rampage in China. Now David Webb most become Jason Bourne again or he might just loose the women he loves again!!

Today I am switching it up a little I have done a lot of books that mostly girls would read, all though there are no such thing as a girl or boy book. Today I want to tell a little about a series called the Bourne Series. No not the movies which are NOTHING like the books. The first is the Bourne Identity, in this book you are introduced to a mysterious man who was picked up by some fisherman, and then brought to an island's alcoholic doctor. It turns out this mysterious man has lost all his memory. In this first book you question whether this man is on the good guys side or some mass assassin in league with Carlos the Jackal. Throughout the chapters you do not know which person is a good or bad guy. Then suddenly a beautiful smart PhD economists is thrown into the picture... Maire. Maire is the ultimate smart person she is almost as smart as the mysterious assassin/hero?? What comes next for this unlikely couple is he really an assassin or some undercover spook for the CIA which is it?? And is she going to trust her instincts and stay with this man or is she going to return to the boring economics seminar?

I decided not to do Vampire Academy yet, don't get me wrong I love that series it was very good but the last book is not out yet so I am going to wait until the last book comes out before I write about it. This other book is calles To Catch a Pirate. A really good book all around. The beginning chapter pulls you into the entire book. It has great character's especially the main character. In this book the author puts to test a well bread society girl agaisnt a pirate who might actually be good. The twist is you're never sure who will be the winner in a constent battle of wits, strength, and courage. Check it out To Catch a Pirate by Jade Parker

OK next book in this series is Child of the prophecy. Now in this book you see Niahm's daughter sorta of like the transition from Sorcha to Liadan now this transition is from aunt to niece. In this book you also see the new main element instead of healing it's sorceree. A little change. You also get to see how much aunt and niece are alike check this book out !! Later to come is Vampire Academy!!

The second book in the series mentioned earlier is Son of the Shadows also by Juliet Marillier. In this second one your are transitioned into (HINT SPOILER: YOU WERE WARNED) the daughter of Sorcha. In this book Liadan daughter of Sorcha takes over the reins of this story also with her brother Sean and her sister, Niahm. In this story there is more conflict with related characters and an address to the discrimination in early time between Irish and English. I like it how the author transitions your love for the character Sorcha into the character of Liadan. Thats it for now thank you Chris for being my first reader!!

Today I want to talk about a different book, Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Miller. Daughter of the forest is a combination of Irish Folklore with a little history....It is a surprisingly good combination. In most books the first 2 chapters are the hardest to get through and also to write. In this book you see the development of Sorcha from a young age to until she is about 16 or 17. Sorcha has to triumph over the most difficult challenges, its nice to see a strong women from early history not all women were pampered and ignored like history likes to remember them. I think any reader would like this 3 part series its a good book to cruel up with, with a big blanket and a cup of cocoa...In this book you'll experience all the emotion the author is trying to convey, it will make you laugh and cry and probably both at the same time.

Finished Elixir, For her first novel its a good start...latter in the book she could've have slowed down the story everything was moving really quick....As my friend would've told me take your time no need to rush your characters....I think this could of happened with the characters of Clea and Sage....no offense... but overall a really good book...Hope any of my friends reading this will check out Elixir by Hilliary Duff

First book is Elixir by Hilliary Duff. In this book I like the way the author can address many different characters while not straying from the original character's personality or view...People can see themselves as that character but the character wont drastically change throughout the novel. Clea ( the main character in Elixir) is plagued by the mysterious disappearance of her father. I like the fact that Hilliary Duff put some of her own likeness into this character, I think that makes any book better...more to come on Elixir
